Manchester United linked with Goncalo Inacio

Manchester United are interested in signing Goncalo Inacio from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners United are on the hunt for a new centre-back, and that Inacio is on their radar.

Inacio came through the Sporting youth system and has now established himself in the Portuguese giants’ first team.  The 22-year-old has played eight times in the Portuguese league and has made two appearances in the UEFA Europa League for Sporting so far this season.

Manchester United are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches, five points behind Liverpool in fourth. Meanwhile, Sporting currently find themselves at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table with 22 points from eight games.
