Manchester United linked with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema

Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid and France international striker Karim Benzema in the summer of 2023, according to El Nacional. Benzema is out of contract at last season’s La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid at the end of the season, and former Premier League and European champions United are keen on securing the services of the 34-year-old former Lyon star.

United are reportedly ready to offer Benzema a crazy offer to tempt him to Old Trafford next summer. The striker is one of the best players in the world and won the Ballon d’Or this year. Benzema has had injury problems this season, but when fit and available, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Madrid are second in the La Liga table at the moment with 35 points from 14 matches, two points behind leaders and bitter rivals Barcelona. Meanwhile, United currently find themselves fifth in the Premier League table with 26 points from 14 games, three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who have played 15 games.
