Manchester United linked with Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ivan Perisic

Manchester United are interested in signing Ivan Perisic from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that United left-back Luke Shaw is injured at the moment, and manager Erik ten Hag is looking to bring in a cover.

United have made contact with the agent of Perisic about a loan deal. The Croatian left-back’s representative has turned down the approach and has told the Red Devils not to make contact with Tottenham. Perisic, who can also play as a wing-back, joined Spurs in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer after leaving Inter Milan and is under contract at the North London club until the end of the season.

Both United and Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season. The Red Devils will be expected to kick on from last season and push for the league title as well.
