Manchester United are interested in signing Timo Werner in the summer transfer window, according to a report in TEAMtalk. Former Chelsea forward Werner is on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from RB Leipzig at the moment, and it has been reported that United plan to try to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer of 2024.
Werner joined Tottenham on loan from Leipzig in the January transfer window and is scheduled to stay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until the end of the season. The 28-year-old Germany international forward has scored two goals and given two assists in five starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League.
United are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 47 points from 28 matches, six points behind Tottenham, who are now fifth and have played 27 games.
