Manchester United linked with Victor Osimhen of Napoli

Manchester United are interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the summer of 2023, according to The Manchester Evening News. The report has claimed that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners want to sign a young centre-forward next summer, and that they are looking into the possibility of bringing in Osimhen.

Osimhen has been on the books of Napoli since the summer of 2020 when he joined from French club Lille. The Nigeria international striker has been superb for the Serie A club and has established himself as an important player in the team.

So far this season, Osimhen has scored eight goals and provided two assists in nine Serie A starts for Napoli. The striker has also scored one goal in three UEFA Champions League matches for the Naples outfit so far this campaign. Last season, the Nigerian star scored 14 goals and gave two assists in 23 Serie A starts and scored four goals in three UEFA Europa League starts for Napoli.
