Manchester United are interested in signing Yunus Akgun from Galatasaray, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Akgun has been likened to Real Madrid player Arda Guler, and that United are showing a keen interest in him.
Akgun has been on the books of Galatasaray since 2011 and has established himself in the first team after coming through the youth academy. The 24-year-old is able to play as an attacking midfielder or as a right winger. The Turkey international had loan spells at Adana Demirspor and Leicester City.
The Turkish star has scored two goals and provided one assist in seven starts and three substitute appearances in the Turkish Super Lig and has scored four goals in four UEFA Europa League matches for Galatasaray so far this season. United are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment, while Galatasaray are currently at the top of the Turkish Super Lig standings.
