Premier League giants Manchester United will send a scout to watch Torino forward Alessio Cerci at the weekend, reports La Stampa.
The Red Devils have been alerted of the striker’s potential a while back and they are closely monitoring his progress with a view to luring him to Old Trafford.
Manchester United are not exactly short of options up front, although the fact Cerci can also play on either wing could explain why David Moyes is showing interest in the Italy international.
Alessio Cerci has largely impressed since joining Torino from Fiorentina, scoring a total of 16 goals in 48 Serie A matches.
He already has 8 goals in 13 appearances this season and could even be vying for the top goalscorer award.
However, with top European clubs circling around the 26-year-old forward, Torino could have a real battle on their hands in an attempt to keep hold of their prized asset.
