Manchester United are interested in signing Ivan Toney from Premier League rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners United have submitted a bid of €70 million to the Bees for the striker.
Toney is one of the better strikers in the Premier League and has done well for Brentford during his time at the London club. The 28-year-old has made 15 starts and one substitute appearance in the league for the Bees this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process. The Englishman has made 84 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored 36 goals and given 10 assists in those games.
United are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 37 matches, while Brentford currently find themselves 16th in the standings with 39 points from 37 games.
