Manchester United are interested in signing former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that the Red Devils have made an offer to the Denmark international playmaker, who is out of contract at Brentford this summer.
Eriksen joined Brentford on a free transfer in the middle of the past season on a contract that runs out at the end of the month. The playmaker made 10 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Bees, scoring one goal and providing four assists in the process.
United finished sixth in the Premier League table this past season with 58 points from 38 matches, while Brentford ended the campaign in 13th place with 46 points from 38 games.
