Manchester United have made a second offer for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, according to 90min. The report has claimed that United had an earlier bid of £40 million for Mount turned down, and the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners made a new bid for £50 million. The Blues has rejected it as well.
Chelsea have been looking for £70 million in transfer fees for Mount, but the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners could decide to cash in on the England international for between £60 million and £65 million. Mount made 20 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea last season. The Chelsea no. 19 scored three goals and gave two assists in those games. The England international midfielder made five starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Blues last season, providing one assist in the process.
