Manchester United need to pay £10m to Alphonso Davies?

Manchester United will have to pay Alphonso Davies £10 million as a signing-on fee, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that Real Madrid are the favourites to get a deal done for Davies, who is out of contract at Bayern Munich at the end of the season and will become a free transfer.

Davies has been on the books of Bayern since 2018 and has established himself as one of the best players in the world. The Canada international can operate as a winger or as a left-winger. The 24-year-old has given one assist in seven starts and one substitute appearance in the Bundesliga and has played four times in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern so far this season.

United are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 10 matches, seven points above the bottom three and six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. As for Bayern, they currently find themselves at the top of the Bundesliga table with 23 points from nine games, three points ahead of second-placed RB Leipzig.
