Manchester United are not giving up on their pursuit of Renato Sanches.
The Premier League giants have submitted a late January transfer offer worth €30 million, but failed to bring the highly talented Benfica 18-year-old during winter.
However, Portuguese media outlet Record are reporting that Manchester United are not willing to give up on their pursuit of the midfield sensation and that the two sides are on verge of an agreement that will see Sanches become a United player in the summer.
It is reported that Manchester United have increased their offer to €40 million upfront, with additional €20 million in incentives and bonuses.
Renato Sanches joined Benfica as the 9-year-old going through the youth set-up of the club to make his full professional debut in 2014-15 season.
The 18-year-old midfielder is the member of Portugal Under 19 national team since 2014.
The highly-rated teenager has this season made 14 league appearances for Benfica scoring two goals in the process.
