Manchester United pondering Nani sale

Manchester United could decide to cash in on Nani this summer, according to Sunday Mirror.

The Portuguese winger has become unsettled at Old Trafford after the club refused to offer him an improved contract, while the player is also unhappy with the lack of playing time.

The 24-year-old lost his starting place when Antonio Valencia returned to action, with Sir Alex Ferguson’s decision not to start him in the Champions League final against Barcelona further upsetting the player.

With Manchester United set to complete the signing of England international Ashley Young, they are exploring the possibility of selling the Portuguese winger in the next transfer window.

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer Nani an escape route from Old Trafford, although the high asking price could scupper the deal as United want £40 million for the Portugal international.

Fantastic Nani. Fergie, do not make such a terrible mistake to sell Nani. If you do, we are doomed. Because individually, Nani is far more better than Ashley Young. Dont be like Wenger. Nani is still young and dynamic, he is in form to win more cups and titles for united.

Nani is a very good player that brings a lot to the table. But the question, does he take away more than he brings? Football is a team sport and Nani has shown time and time again that he is not a team player. Having said this though, I suggest he is seriously cautioned and given one last chance.

Hey to me Nani is disaster for opponents. come on sir Alex think again.
For such a great talent i think the world is deaf, i would suggest Barca, Chelsea, Milan, Real, City, Lyon, Benfica, Porto or any other wordclass giant should give priority to this, if happens, transfer……

Sir Alex is one the best club coaches with no doubt, yet, he’s quick to downgrade a player and the way he does it it’s questionable! he seems to lose interest or trust in players that clearly seem has a lot to offer. his decision to sideline barbatov in the final agaist barcelona is one of the many another reason to justify that, i always thought he was never keen on Nani’s services. Despite his many flaws Nani has been the driving force of man u in many occasions, all he needs is some advice and guidance and unfortunaly the coach doesnt fance him, so doesnt advice him and guide him to perfect his game, he needs to move on to show wht ie really capable of, at man u he will continue being overlooked

WOW! 40M For Nani?!? Its amazing what one good season will do for you. If any club comes close to this transfer fee MANU will come out of the deal like thieves. His two biggest problems are that he is inconsistent, either he looks like C.Ronaldo or he looks like Anderson. Also, I don’t think he has the mental maturity to be successful on a regular basis. He seems to be playing the same way he played with Sporting’s Youth team, relaying too much on this physical abilities and not thinking things through.

TO BE SINCERE, NANI IS A GOOD AND WONDERFUL PLAYER BUT ONE THING WITH HIM IS SELFISHNESS. HE LIKES TAKING GLORY OF SCORING GOALS TO HIMSELF ONLY. IF HE CAN BE GIVEN CORRECTIONS ON THAT, I THINK HE CAN CHANGE AND BE GOOD AGAIN

Any big team will need Nani’s service.so why not man u.He is a huge asset to the club,he has the ability to change any kind of match.Infact he deserved to be on the starting lineup for the final against Barca instead of Valencia who was not efective and commited a lot of unnecesary fouls.Nani is simply the best on united lineup.

Nani is not as consistent as he should be. He should have improved considering ha played alongside with Ronaldo who was just as inconsistent in his early days.

They played together at ManU and still play together for Portugal but Nani is still so inconsistent. It’s this inconsistency that warrants his exit.

    A) Definately not worth £40m
    B) If some team is willing to pay that much for him, then sell him at once.
    C) Use the money to strenghten central midfield (Javier Pastore, Ganso, Sneider) — for £40m, united could buy any of those players and still have some money to spare.

Yet, like I said. He is not worth that much and noone is gonna pay more than £20m.

I prefer valencia to go i/o nani. nani a bit selfish but still brilliant player at times. at the other hand, valencia having less flairs compare to nani and his stiff dribbling often blocked easily by opponent. if berbatov leave mu, nani should stay.

The worst mistake united will ever do is get rid if Nani. Ȋ̝̊̅̄t will be the worst blunder ever. Fan are Йøt going to be happy with that. We did Йøt say anything concirning that of Ronaldo and think ȋ̝̊̅̄t will be the same this period? Well, i move the motion which states that should play along with Antonio despite Ashley Young interference. Do remamber that Nani was the only player to cut into Barcelona’  box and with a goal attempt. Even when Rooney aNd most of our creative players ran out of style, didn’t thought of selling him?

  • ugwah ugonna c

Ȋ̝̊̅̄t has been nice with Red Devil doing my wish by signing David and A̶̲̥̅♏ immensely pleased. But there is still a little thing we Utd. Still need to do: 1:Get wisley of inter. and Luka Modric of Hotspur combined the midfield to make a creative impact. May looking at our rivals, they are seriously gettiing set for Man Utd. For the new season. I also suggest that Bebertov should get his shoes dusted earlier for ȋ̝̊̅̄t will be nice to swap him with Luka Modric. If Sir will not look at cost but benefit to reenforce the squad with the light of modric and wisley at the midfield battle we will still stand a chance to be triumphant in Champions League. Am also looking at getting sanchaz.

R ManU out of mind to sell such a disaster, Nani for me is better, fast,& constructive of play even the Ronaldo. i think would b a big blow up if he heads somewhere else for old trafford. the only destination for such a hotrod, according to me would b mighty Barca if he is offered in st.11 squad. Nani could b something what Barca slightly miss and would be agreat competition to see Messi-Nani vs Ronaldo-Kaka in front lines. but from me bottom line would b not selling him.

Nani and JiSungPark are just spending Their summer in Bali, no sign that Nani will be leaving United said some sources. But if He will, then I thought It could be good additional funds to speed up sneijder’s transfer from Inter, or “luring out” Udinese’s sanchez to change His destination to Old Trafford despite of Nou Camp.
Who’s going to go? Nani or Berbatov? for Sneijder, Sanchez, Xherdan Shaqiri or Modric?

First of all its “United” and not “man u”, secondly it not AF but SAF (Sir Alex Ferguson), thirdly,
SAF is not stupid, he never said nani isn’t good, that’s y he overpriced him to 40$ mill to start of with and if anyone bid for him he would probably earn even more than 40$ mill an then its a good deal coz he is at peak or very near his peak and will wear out sooner with his stupid and unnecessary stopovers and failed trickery… I would rather sell him , get 40-45 mill and then spend wisely in the market to get value players like Sanchez or Schneider or someone alike for far less …. n shoot yourself if u feel nani is better than sanchez or schneider

  • Udo Ntikrang

Nani is a good player no doubt! His recent exclusion from first list might not be unconnected with his recent selfish performances. I saw it coming! There were opportunities man u lost because Nani refused to release the passes. He started the season well, and was at one time the best assist. But he later had this problem that in every match he would not release the pass at the vital point unless he had scored. I think Alex read the fans’ mind. But he should not go. He should rather be talk to and made to understand that football is a team game it doesn’t really matter who scored if the club does not win. He should know when it is appropriate when to try his skills and when to release the pass for the needed goals. Valencia did bad at the Champions league final, but he was favored because of those deep crosses when everyone is on running not holding back the ball for some in-accurate footwork. United will still finish tops anywhere!

Congratulations United fans of the RED ARMY. Remember Old trafford is a theater of dream and we are dreaming big again.

Only popped back to see what had been added to this and Jesus there’s some very disillusioned and angry Man U fans on here, the possibility of him leaving was only a rumour that seems to be coming to nothing and even if AF wanted to sell him no-one would buy him even for much less than 40 mil, I wouldn’t have him in a team even on a free! The guys attitude, temperament and behaviour are disgraceful I expect better from my under 9’s if any of them acted the way Nani does they’d be warming the bench for a week or two until they sorted their lives out.

I dont c y Fergie is going after Ashley when we have nani and valencia. One of them will go and if its Nani that is unfortunate. He is still young and full of promise. Maybe the la liga would suite him better but he is still a good player. Only way he should leave is if we trade him away with cash to Inter for Wesley.

another thing to consider is that no one leaves. Do u think valencia moves in? It would be a huge advantage if you can have the CM and LM switch back and forth without any loss of skill and play.

I’d rather Nani go to Arsenal if the only outcome of these recent events is his departure. Real Madrid has already bought enough of our players and only cared about them for the jerseys they sell. I’d much rather him stay, but if he can’t, then I’d like to see him in a Gunner jersey than Galactico. but we all know, unfortunately, Madrid’s not afraid of dishing out 40 mil+. . .

  • pettz

  • Matt

gfsdgdg, why shouldn’t he leave? he’s out of favour with the club and is struggling to get game time since Valencia’s return to fitness, as much as i disagree with Ferguson’s valuation if the opportunity to be a first team player elsewhere is available at a club that wants him, of course he should leave.
Any football player who doesn’t crave first team football doesn’t deserve to pull on the jersey for any club, so if he were to go to someone like Real Madrid or (god forbid) Man City and be a bit part, squad player he’d be better off staying where he is, but for regular football he’d be better off with a move.

  • Matt

    0 0

gfsdgdg, why shouldn’t he leave? he’s out of favour with the club and is struggling to get game time since Valencia’s return to fitness, as much as i disagree with Ferguson’s valuation if the opportunity to be a first team player elsewhere is available at a club that wants him, of course he should leave.
Any football player who doesn’t crave first team football doesn’t deserve to pull on the jersey for any club, so if he were to go to someone like Real Madrid or (god forbid) Man City and be a bit part, squad player he’d be better off staying where he is, but for regular football he’d be better off with a move.

    let him go to arsenal

  • Brad

    0 0

I’d rather Nani go to Arsenal if the only outcome of these recent events is his departure. Real Madrid has already bought enough of our players and only cared about them for the jerseys they sell. I’d much rather him stay, but if he can’t, then I’d like to see him in a Gunner jersey than Galactico. but we all know, unfortunately, Madrid’s not afraid of dishing out 40 mil+. . .

have you heard yourselves of course nani is worth 40mil people who disagree are idiots for example: andy carrol 35mil lol, haha henderson 20mil, omg nani is the 3times the player he is worth 40mil alday if not more, if he played regular football he could become even better but unfortunately fergi has a hard job deciding between him and valencia but nani is qaulity and worth 40mil so pointless denying that, i hope he stays as i can just see if he left he could become one of the greatest and then fergie might regret it so hold on to him please… man utd forver!!!

Nani needs to go… if I watch another game of Nani trying all these ridiculous skill moves outside the 18 only to take a shot he knows won’t come anywhere close I’m gonna go nuts. Sell him and bring in a player who knows how to pass the ball. Get CR7 back!!

  • C.V.G

To Zack! What the hell do you mean Nani doesn’t know how to pass the ball you ignorant, He is the best in the premier league at assists with 18 fucking perfect crosses you big dummy…stop talking shit and start watching soccer games and know your facts motherfucker!

i don’t know about you guys but i honestly think nani deserves more game time and a little more respect. He has done alot and manu could always have that hope in him in critical situations..he is way better than Ashley.

  • A

    0 0

I dont c y Fergie is going after Ashley when we have nani and valencia. One of them will go and if its Nani that is unfortunate. He is still young and full of promise. Maybe the la liga would suite him better but he is still a good player. Only way he should leave is if we trade him away with cash to Inter for Wesley.

another thing to consider is that no one leaves. Do u think valencia moves in? It would be a huge advantage if you can have the CM and LM switch back and forth without any loss of skill and play.

  • mondrick sims

what is wrong with people am pretty sure nani has proven to everyone that he can become a great player for man u. i think if man u get rid of nani the will regret losing a talented skillfull player and to see players like nani now a days is pretty hard .
give the guy some respect, just cause he didint score 40 goals like ronaldo did and scored the amazing free kicks doesnt mean he is not a great player .for crying oout loud did u see how bad valencia played in the champions league final disgraceful.

Yall just be crazy, Nani is a great football players dat man U is very lucky to have and once they sell him, thats wen they will see how much they have lost and come to think bout it…………..Nani is worth 40Mill (follow me @NBSESHWENI)

  • Matt

Only popped back to see what had been added to this and Jesus there’s some very disillusioned and angry Man U fans on here, the possibility of him leaving was only a rumour that seems to be coming to nothing and even if AF wanted to sell him no-one would buy him even for much less than 40 mil, I wouldn’t have him in a team even on a free! The guys attitude, temperament and behaviour are disgraceful I expect better from my under 9’s if any of them acted the way Nani does they’d be warming the bench for a week or two until they sorted their lives out.

Nani’s not that bad. . . . okay, he is bad a good bit of the time. . . but still, even he will sometimes ride tackles that Ronaldo wouldn’t. We’re angry, Matt, because we know there could be a chance of him leaving, and we don’t want him to.

I think him finishing top player of the year on barclays premier league fantasy football say alot, along with Uniteds players player of the year – he’s a fantastic player when he wants to be, shame if he does leave united, whats Sir Alex playing at here! I agree though 40 million estimation is over the top

  • Udo Ntikrang

    0 0

Well, in Ferguson we Trust 🙂

Guys do u forget. when rooney was out of form nani is the one who won the game for united. no one in team united should leave. firge should sign playrs who are waiting for chance like kevin nolan. than spending huge amount on big stars… we need a good passer not the goal scorers. we know that nolan is able to stand head to head aganist xavi or inieasta. im not saying to buy nolan.. leave fighting for schinijder and buy players like nolan.

  • ugwah ugonna c

I prefer valencia to go i/o nani. nani a bit selfish but still brilliant player at times. at the other hand, valencia having less flairs compare to nani and his stiff dribbling often blocked easily by opponent. if berbatov leave mu, nani should stay.

  • manchild

    A) Definately not worth £40m
    B) If some team is willing to pay that much for him, then sell him at once.
    C) Use the money to strenghten central midfield (Javier Pastore, Ganso, Sneider) — for £40m, united could buy any of those players and still have some money to spare.

Yet, like I said. He is not worth that much and noone is gonna pay more than £20m.

Nani is not as consistent as he should be. He should have improved considering ha played alongside with Ronaldo who was just as inconsistent in his early days.

Nani is a very good player that brings a lot to the table. But the question, does he take away more than he brings? Football is a team sport and Nani has shown time and time again that he is not a team player. Having said this though, I suggest he is seriously cautioned and given one last chance.

Fantastic Nani. Fergie, do not make such a terrible mistake to sell Nani. If you do, we are doomed. Because individually, Nani is far more better than Ashley Young. Dont be like Wenger. Nani is still young and dynamic, he is in form to win more cups and titles for united.
