Manchester United preparing huge Perisic bid

According to Tuttosport, Manchester United are gearing up to make a huge bid for Ivan Perisic. The Croatian, who is coming off the back of a World Cup final appearance with his nation in which he scored a tremendous goal, has put in a series of world-class performances in Russia over the last month. Perisic has bounced around a series of clubs throughout his career, including spending four years in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg respectively.

United, on the other hand, are being led by Jose Mourinho who is extremely interested in acquiring Perisic’s services. The reported fee being thrown around is €70 million, although it remains to be seen whether Perisic is interested in the switch. The Premier League would serve as a complete change of pace for him, after spending time in a variety of other leagues across European football including Belgium, France and Italy and many more.
