According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Manchester United are gearing up to make a double swoop for Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga.
The Camavinga deal has been in the works for a while and so has the Varane move, with initial talks between United and Real Madrid supposedly taking place. Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be ready and willing to offer him a return to France but as of this writing, Manchester United are leading the charge.
Varane still has a year left on his current Real Madrid contract and it’s not yet known how invested Madrid are in the idea of him leaving right now.
Real may be a club for the people in the eyes of their fans but they are a business first, and someone like Varane still holds a lot of potential – even after everything he’s already been able to achieve in his career.
