Manchester United are interested in signing Andreas Christensen from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Barcelona need to sell some of their players for financial problems, and that Premier League giants United are keen on securing the services of Christensen.
Christensen joined Barcelona in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer after leaving Chelsea. United are reportedly open to paying as much as €70 million in transfer fees for the 27-year-old Denmark international central defender, who won the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League once each other with the Blues.
The defender has made 17 starts and one substitute appearance in La Liga for Barcelona so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process. Christensen has also made three appearances in the UEFA Champions League and one start and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League for Xavi’s side this campaign.
