Manchester United rekindle Cuadrado interest

Italian media outlet Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Premier League outfit Manchester United are set to launch a new assault on Fiorentina star Juan Guillermo Cuadrado.

The Red Devils aim to attract more high-profile players to Old Trafford after the likes of Di Maria, Falcao, Herrera, Blind and Shaw joined this summer and they are reportedly hot on the trail of the Colombian winger.

Cuadrado’s representatives are currently in talks with Fiorentina over a new contract for their client, with a €35 million buy-out clause believed to have already been agreed.

This is enough to suggest that the Colombian is likely to leave Artemio Franchi in the near future and Manchester United are among the frontrunners for his signature.

Cuadrado, 26, can play on either flank in defence or midfield and he is also a major threat for the opposition defenders, as witnessed by 11 league goals he scored last season.
