Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Feyenoord midfielder Tahith Chong.
The Red Devils scouts spotted the player’s talent during the Premier Cup tournament played at United’s training complex last month and they have since stepped up their interest in the youngster.
Chong, 15, is currently regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Feyenoord’s famous youth academy, but the Dutch giants face a real battle on their hands to ward off interest in his services.
The midfielder, who boasts a very good scoring record and can also act as a striker, has been invited for a trial by Manchester United, and the Red Devils officials hope they can persuade him and his family to move to England.
While splashing the cash on some world-class players this summer, Manchester United are also looking towards the future and they have earlier signed 16-year-old defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Ajax.
