Premier League giants Manchester United are prepared to dig deep into their treasure chest in order to grab the highly-rated Monaco star Bernardo Silva, according to Portugal media outlet Record, who are calling up on rumours from The Sun.
The Red Devils have splashed plenty of cash to build a competitive squad at the Old Trafford, but Jose Mourinho has cast his eye on the Portuguese international who is believed to be identified as one of the club’s prime targets.
The 22-year-old Portugal creator has found his place on Manchester United’s summer list, but the red Devils plans could be scrapped by the increasing interest for the player coming from the Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid.
Silva’s club Monaco are well aware of the interest and are believed to be demanding the whopping amount close to £70 million for their star performer.
Bernardo Silva has this season made 19 Ligue 1 appearances, adding 4 goals in the process. He added another 3 goals in his 9 Champions League games as well.
