Manchester United still want Maddison

According to a recent report from Leicester Mercury, Manchester United are set to renew their interest in Leicester City star James Maddison once the January transfer window opens in a few months time. Maddison has enjoyed a strong start to the new season with the Foxes, who are now believed to be challenging for a place in the top six this season. United have been poor in the early stages of the new Premier League campaign and that has been particularly evident in the middle of the park. They seem to have no real creative flow within their squad, whereas Leicester have it coming out of their ears – and Maddison has been playing a significant role in that.

He is believed to be at the top of United’s wish list in January, despite the fact that it doesn’t seem as if Leicester are willing to sell until at least next summer.
