Manchester United still want Rakitic

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United are set to consider the possibility of a move for Ivan Rakitic. This comes in the wake of the news that Paul Pogba is interested in leaving the club, with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus making it known that they may go after the Frenchman. Rakitic, though, is a midfielder that the Red Devils have had their eye on for quite some time now, although it initially seemed like he could be more interested in the possibility of heading to Inter Milan.

The Croatian is widely considered to be one of the most underrated midfielders on the planet, but there are of course concerns regarding whether or not he’d be able to get the job done over in the Premier League.

After all, filling the shoes of a player like Paul Pogba, who is known for being a bit of a midfield general, is a tall order.
