Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants Jadon Sancho to leave in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Ten Hag is desperate for the winger to leave in the middle of the season.
Sancho and Ten Hag have fallen out with each other. The England international winger is not in the plans of the latter. However, United are struggling to find a club who would sign Sancho on a permanent contract. Sancho’s former club Borussia Dortmund are not keen on him, and Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig cannot afford to pay his £350,000-a-week salary.
Sancho has made 58 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The winger has scored nine goals and given six assists in those games. United are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 16 matches. Erik ten Hag’s side are six points behind defending champions and city rivals Manchester United.
