Pescara midfielder Juan Fernando Quintero has admitted that he would like to continue his career at Inter Milan.
Quintero, 19, has been in scintillating form for Pescara this season and has seen his name linked with clubs like Manchester United, Inter and Juventus, among others.
Asked whether he is interested in a move to Manchester United, Quintero replied:
“No, I like Inter,” the Colombian was quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport. “It is clear that I would not say no to other good teams here, however, I think big: Manchester, Milan, Juventus…will decide with my family and Calleri, my agent.”
It appears that the youngster has already set his sights on leaving Pescara for greener pastures, but club’s €10 million asking price could prove to be an obstacle to any deal.
Quintero is currently with his national team at the Under-20 South American Championship, and has scored one goal in three group games.
The 19-year-old only joined Pescara in the summer, but quickly proved his worth in one of Europe’s strongest leagues.
The Colombian has scored 1 goal and set up 2 more in 14 Serie A appearances this season.
