Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin has expressed his desire to leave the club this summer.
The 23-year-old has been linked with Manchester United, Lyon and Lille following the impressive season in Ligue 1 that saw him finish as top assist maker in France’s elite division.
The France international now says that he would like to leave Sochaux if the right opportunity arrives.
“If there is an offer for me, I would like to leave. I have said it to the president and the coach of the club,” Martin told L’Est Républicain.
“Despite everything that could happen, my state of mind will never change. Even if I stay, in no case will I create conflicts or cause a bad atmosphere – that is just not me.
“I am a hard working player who loves football and Sochaux. But now my wish is to leave.”
The highly rated midfielder hinted that he would like to remain in France.
“PSG are a great club, who are part of the best. They are rebuilding and want to make great things. Anyway, I want to stay in France.”
