Ajax keeper Maarten Stekelenburg admits he wouldn’t mind leaving the club at the end of the season if the right offer comes in.
The Holland number one has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and he is now ready to consider a summer transfer.
“I don’t necessarily have to leave Ajax this summer. However, I’m willing to think about it if a good club comes up at the end of the season,” Stekelenburg told Echo.
“All I can do is prove my worth on the pitch and that’s what I’m doing this term. We’ll just have to wait and see whether anything interesting comes up. I’ve heard a lot of crazy stories in the past few months.
“That’s obviously nice to hear, because it’s a sign that you’re apparently doing a good job. However, I haven’t been in touch with any clubs yet.”
