In an effort to bolster the competition at right-back, Premier League giants Manchester United appear to have set their sights on Paris Saint Germain bad boy Serge Aurier.
The Ivory Coast international has been left out of the first-team for Les Parisiens’ preseason tour of the United States and is expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window.
Aurier has been hitting the headlines a lot lately with the PSG man performing a ‘slit throat’ gesture after a goal for Ivory Coast, being sentenced to two months in prison for assaulting a police officer, whereas he also sparked plenty of controversy after an outrage towards former PSG Laurent Blanc coach and teammates such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Paris Saint-Germain are looking to offload the rebel of a footballer and, according to the Independent, it is Manchester United who want to offer him a chance for the new start and a clean slate.
The Ivory Coast defender would be available for £25 million and would come to Old Trafford as a direct replacement for out-of-sorts Mateo Darmian.
