Manchester United want Aarons

According to a recent report from ESPN, Manchester United have discussed the possibility of signing Norwich City defender Max Aarons.

The belief is that they will have to wait until the summer transfer window in order to get this deal over the finish line, and the Red Devils themselves know that. Whether or not they will enter into talks before the window actually opens is a different matter.

Manchester United do have a few impressive reinforcements when it comes to their defensive options, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t improve upon them. There is a long way to go before this club can be viewed as sustainable title contenders once again with Liverpool’s defensive structure – when Virgil van Dijk is fit – being one o the reasons why they stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Aarons represents the future, and at the age of 20, he could have many years ahead of him at the top of English football.
