Manchester United want AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu

Manchester United are interested in signing AC Milan attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu on a free transfer this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb. The 27-year-old is out of contract at Milan this summer, and Premier League giants United are keen on securing the services of the Turkey international.

However, United are not the only club who are interested in signing Calhanoglu in the summer transfer window. Italian powerhouse Juventus are also claimed to want the 27-year-old.  The Serie A outfit are looking for a potential replacement Cristiano Ronaldo, who could leave the Turin giants this summer.

Calhanoglu has been on the books of Milan since 2017 and has established himself as one of the better attacking midfielders in  Serie A. The 27-year-old is a creative player who is also very good from set pieces. The former Bayer Leverkusen star made 30 starts and three substitute appearances in Serie A for Milan this season, scoring four goals and providing nine assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
