Manchester United are interested in signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, according to Bild. The Norway international striker will have a release clause of €75 million in his contract then, and Premier League and European giants United are considering activating it and bring him to Old Trafford.
Haaland is one of the best strikers in the world and has all the attributes to become the best in the coming years. The 21-year-old scored 27 goals in the Bundesliga and 10 goals in the Champions League for Dortmund last season. So far this campaign, the striker has scored nine goals and provided three assists in the league and has scored one goal in two Champions League appearances.
United have two world-class strikers in Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo, but Haaland is much younger than them.
