Manchester United want Evan Ferguson to replace Marcus Rashford

Manchester United are interested in signing Evan Ferguson from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that United are looking to move on Marcus Rashford in the middle of the season, and that the Red Devils want Ferguson to replace the England international forward.

Ferguson has been on the books of Brighton since 2021. The Republic of Ireland international did well for the Seagulls initially, but his form has died down now. The 20-year-old striker has made two starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The youngster scored six goals in 15 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the league in the 2023-24 campaign.

United, linked with Southampton midfielder Tyler Dibling, are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 19 points from 15 matches, 10 points above the relegation zone. As for Brighton, they currently find themselves seventh in the standings with 24 points from 15 games.
