According to a recent report from A Bola, Manchester United have entered the race to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The 24 year old has already scored 11 goals this season, and as a result of his bright form, he’s been attracting the attention of several high profile clubs across Europe. This includes fellow Premier League sides Everton and Liverpool as well as Atletico Madrid.
Fernandes has been a part of Sporting since back in 2017 when he jumped ship from Sampdoria, and has also been in the Portugal national team’s setup since 2017. Fernandes was a part of the Portuguese squad that reached the knockout stages of last summer’s FIFA World Cup.
United already have a pretty star studded squad on their hands, but if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is serious about wanting to remain at Old Trafford beyond the summer, he’ll have to start showing the club what kind of players he’s going to be targeting in the transfer window.
