According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Manchester United are preparing to go after a new goalkeeper – with Jan Oblak being at the top of their list.
It may seem odd to think that they’re contemplating getting rid of David de Gea, but the Spaniard has certainly had his share of struggles when it comes to consistency in a United shirt.
He’s been number one at Old Trafford for longer than most of us remember with Dean Henderson not being too far behind. So then, it makes sense for the Red Devils to stick with one of those two men.
Instead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to be keeping an eye on Atletico Madrid’s main man.
The initial thought is that he’s going to prove to be far too expensive and that isn’t exactly going to add up to success for Ole. However, if Oblak fancies testing himself in the Premier League, United may be in luck.
