According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are worried that they are going to face some competition in the race to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool – and the competition is set to come from a pretty unlikely place. One club that is said to be interested is Bayern Munich, as the German champions desperately try and get themselves back into the mix in the Champions League. The other side, however, is Manchester United.
The Red Devils have had a really poor season and will be desperate to improve during the summer transfer window, but this potential deal certainly sounds like it’ll be a step too far. As most of us know Manchester United and Liverpool are bitter rivals and have been for decades now, which makes the likelihood of them agreeing to a deal for Salah all the more unlikely.
Then again, some would argue that stranger things have happened.
