Manchester United are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are on the hunt for a new striker in the summer of 2023, and that they have identified Abraham as a potential target.
Abraham has been on the books of AS Roma since 2021 and has done well for the Italian club so far in his career. The 25-year-old striker has made 19 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process. The former Chelsea striker has also made five starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League so far this campaign, scoring one goal in the process.
Manchester United are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 49 points from 25 matches. Meanwhile, AS Roma currently find themselves fourth in the Serie A standings with 47 points from 25 matches.
