According to a recent report in England, Manchester United are ready and willing to make a move to try and sign Ajax star Donny van de Beek.
The popular youngster featured heavily for Ajax during their run to the Champions League semi-finals last season, with many believing that he would be heading to an even bigger club during the summer. That didn’t quite come to fruition, though, ensuring that the rumour mill starts back up once again in January.
United are also interested in Hakim Ziyech of Ajax, but their main focus remains van de Beek. It looks like manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to miss out on quite a few key targets over the course of the next few weeks and potentially even months, but that certainly isn’t going to stop them from going after some of the top names in world football today.
He’s a special talent, after all.
