Manchester United are interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that United are willing to send Marcus Rashford to Napoli as part of a swap deal.
Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray at the moment. The Nigeria international striker joined the Turkish club from Napoli in the summer of 2024. The 26-year-old former Lille star has scored nine goals and given three assists in nine starts and two substitute appearances in the Turkish Super Liga and has scored three goals and provided one assist in four UEFA Europa League appearances so far this season.
United, linked with Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 22 points from 19 matches, just seven points above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Napoli currently find themselves second in the Serie A table with 41 points from 18 matches, level on points with leaders Atalanta.
