According to a recent report from Sky Germany, Manchester United are currently believed to be leading the race to sign Denis Zakaria during the summer transfer window.
The young defensive midfielder has been making headlines with both Switzerland and Borussia Monchengladbach as of late, and he’s caught the attention of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, too.
At the age of just 23, he’s already widely considered to be one of the most intriguing midfielders in European football. With United starting to get their affairs in order with Pogba wanting to stay and Bruno Fernandes making a strong impression during his first few weeks with the club, Zakaria could well prove to be the final piece of the puzzle.
For the time being, United are on a great run of form, and if they’re able to secure Champions League qualification this season then they could become a whole lot more appealing to many top players in Europe.
