Manchester United wanted Ndombele

According to French Football, Manchester United have their eyes set on signing Tanguy Ndombele – with local rivals Manchester City also sniffing around. The 21 year old made the move to French club Lyon earlier this year, but many believe that he’s destined for greater things. A series of clubs in England have been looking into the possibility of signing him for quite some time now, but it would appear as if United are in the driving seat – for now, at least.

Lyon aren’t going to let him go that easily, however, with the report suggesting that it’ll cost £70 million for them to bring him to Old Trafford. It goes without saying that United have the finances to make a deal like that happen, but it all depends on what kind of value they see in Ndombele. He’s young, and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders, which will always help.
