Manchester United winger on his way out

Eric Cantona has told Cristiano Ronaldo that leaving Old Trafford might not be a good idea, but there have been no recent developments regarding the future of the Portuguese trickster.

Instead, another Manchester United winger looks set to leave the Theatre of Dreams. Chris Eagles has progressed through the ranks at Manchester United, but, according to The Daily Mail, he will ditch the European champions in favour of first team football.

The report mentions that Eagles would leave the club for just over £1 million and join Championship side Burnley.

Eagles has often played for United in the team’s pre-season tours, but he has failed to make an impact on the first team in competitive matches. Now he will move to the Championship where he has already left his mark during loan spells with Watford and Sheffield Wednesday.
