Wolves have signed Chelsea’s Michael Mancienne for a third loan spell, with the player set to remain at Molineux for the rest of this season, it was announced Thursday.
The 22-year-old initially helped Wolves gain promotion from the second-tier Championship during the 2008/09 season.
Mancienne then rejoined the Midlands club last term and was used initially as a central defender and then in a holding midfield role.
He will be available for Wolves’ home English Premier League match against Newcastle on Saturday.
England Under-21 international Mancienne made 33 appearances for Wolves last season. He has three years remaining on his current contract with Chelsea.
