Former Inter coach Roberto Mancini believes new Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovichas the ‘technical and human qualities’ to do well in the Serie A.

Mihajlovic was Mancini’s assistant at Inter.

“He has the technical and human qualities to do well in Serie A. We were together for many years, but I think every Coach has his own characteristics,” Mancini told Sky Italia.

“He has many qualities and above all knows football very well. He has a great character, is tough and never gives in, so I think he can be of real use to Bologna in their current situation.”

He continued: “I already supported Bologna before he came along, seeing as I grew up here, so now I have an extra reason.

“I hope he does really well and wish him the best of luck. It is an important opportunity in a big city that deserves to stay in Serie A, so I’d be happy if Sinisa’s career started off on the right foot.”
