Mancini eyeing Nastasic reunion

Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic has emerged as a transfer target for Galatasaray, according to the Mirror.

Roberto Mancini, who was appointed manager of the Turkish Super Lig champions in the summer, is considering making a move for the Serbia international, who he gave his City debut at the Bernabeu in a Champions League clash in September 2012.

The Premier League title chasers were linked with a big money move for Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala last month, and they are expecting to go back in for the France international in the summer, in a move which would see Nastasic fall down the pecking order at Eastlands.

The 20 year old, who moved to Manchester after a season in Serie A with Fiorentina eighteen months ago, has made twenty appearances for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season, scoring his one and only goal in the 7-0 rout over Norwich City back in November.
