Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says he must strengthen his squad ahead of next season, but insists he is in no hurry.
The Italian is expected to add to his squad as he looks to turn the English Premier League champions into a force capable of dominating on both domestic and European fronts.
A number of high-profile European stars have already been linked with moves to the blue half of Manchester but Mancini maintains he is in no rush.
When quizzed by Mediaset on potential targets, he replied: “There is time in the market.
“We must strengthen the squad, but we will not hurry.”
Lille star Eden Hazard is among those who could move to the Etihad Stadium, though the Belgium international is yet to make up his mind as to where he will end up.
Mancini met with Manchester City chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak over the weekend, and appears set to sign a new three-year contract extension.
