Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez and manager Roberto Mancini reportedly held crunch talks at 1am on Thursday morning.
It is rumoured that Tevez met Mancini at his house in a surprising attempt to resolve his recent disciplinary issues.
Mancini has claimed that Tevez will never play for him again after suggesting he refused to come off the bench against Bayern Munich, earning him a two-week suspension from the club.
He returned from his suspension on Thursday, after his alleged meeting with the boss but was forced to train alone with a member of City’s fitness staff.
Tevez may still face further punishment from club officials if he is found to have breached the terms of his contract by refusing to come off the subs bench at the Allianz Arena.
Several clubs are still being linked with a move for Tevez but it is thought that the Argentine’s price tag will be dramatically slashed if City feel they must get rid of him.
