(GSM) – Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that he is looking to address the issue of players’ drinking after a video of some of his players on a night out appeared on the internet.

The City manager had earlier hit out at players who drink after a game, urging his squad’s player to ‘behave well’ for the good of their careers.

A footage with City quartet Adam Johnson, Gareth Barry, Joe Hart and Shay Given involved in late-night partying on a trip to Scotland was leaked earlier this week.

As a result, the Italian tactician is disappointed with his players and is looking to resolve the problem in the dressing room.

Mancini has refused to be drawn on whether he will be disciplining the four players, but has again made his displeasure clear.

“I have not seen this video but I told them my opinion about this situation 10 days ago,” Mancini said.

“I don’t understand this. The video was on Monday, and Monday was a day off. Some players can do what they want, but I don’t understand why.

“I am unhappy about this, but for them. We play every three days and it is difficult to recover. I want to resolve this problem in the dressing room, not here (in a press conference).

“I think this problem is not only for us, it is for many players. For British players, it is part of the culture.”

City play Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux today as they look to bounce back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Arsenal.
