Former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini's agent denied Tuesday that his client has been approached by both AS Roma and Juventus to become their new boss.
Both sides are in trouble in Serie A having got off to a terrible start, which has almost put paid to their title chances after only seven matches.
Roma have just seven points with Juve only two better off on nine, while Inter lead the standings on 16 points.
The pressure seems greatest on Juve boss Claudio Ranieri, but Luciano Spalletti's job at Roma will also start to look less secure if results don't improve quickly.
But Giorgio De Giorgis told Radio Radio that no moves had been made from either club to sign his client.
“He would like to coach Roma or Juventus but these offers have not been made,” said De Giorgis, who revealed Mancini is in England at the moment.
“Yes, he's going to go and watch Roma (against Chelsea) if he can get hold of some tickets.
“I think it would be absurd if that team (Roma) decided to change coaches. Juventus? There is no truth in this (that contact has been made). I don't know from where this false rumour has emerged.
“Juventus's directors go about things in the right way and I believe they will go forward with their current coach.”
Mancini has been out of work since the summer when he was dismissed by Inter, despite guiding them to three successive Serie A titles, and replaced by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
