Mandanda yet to hold talks with Marseille

Everton have been alerted to the news that Steve Mandanda is yet to sign a new contract with Marseille, according to the Mirror.

The thirty year old is set to be out of contract in the summer, and negotiations over a fresh deal are yet to commence.

Mandanda moved to Marseille from Le Harve in the summer of 2007 and has so far racked up four hundred and thirty appearances for the club in all competitions.

He was part of the squad that won the Ligue One championship in 2010 and has been named the division’s goalkeeper of the year on three occasions.

Internationally, he has been capped twenty-one times for France, and was part of the squads that attended the 2008 and 2012 European Championships and the 2010 World Cup finals.

The Toffees current first choice shot stopper Tim Howard is expected to call time on his Toffees career at the end of the season.
