Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic is on Wolfsburg radar, according to German newspaper Bild.
The Croatian striker is no longer considered a key member of the squad at Alianz Arena, and with Robert Lewandowski set to arrive in the summer, everything suggests he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Juventus appear to be leading the chase for his signature, but if he is looking for regular playing time then a move to Turin might not be the best option.
Bild has learned that his former club Wolfsburg have joined the chase as well, seeing as how they are set to stay without Ivica Olic.
Mandzukic had already spent two very successful seasons at Weserstadion and he could be interested in a return, especially if the Wolves can secure Champions League qualification.
Wolfsburg sit four points adrift of Champions League positions and they are 12/5 to achieve a top 4 finish.
