AC Milan are weighing up summer move for Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Rossoneri are in the market for a centre forward and the Croatian is one of the players they are looking at.
AC Milan hope to lure Carlo Ancelotti back to San Siro by making a couple of high-profile signings and they could soon step up their interest in Mandzukic.
The Croatian only joined Atletico last summer, but it is believed Diego Simeone would consider letting him leave after the former Bayern star lost his place in the starting line-up.
Mandzukic would not come on the cheap though as he has again proved his goalscoring qualities by netting 20 goals in competitive matches this season.
The 29-year-old has also scored 12 league goals or more in seven of last eight seasons, while representing Dinamo Zagreb, Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
