Mandzukic set for AC Milan

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Mario Mandzukic is currently undergoing a medical ahead of his proposed move to AC Milan.

The Croatian forward has been without a club since his contract with Al-Duhail over in Qatar came to an end after it was terminated by mutual contest. Prior to that he had spent four years in Serie A with Juventus, serving as one of their most efficient strikers.

The veteran looks set to sign a six-month deal that could be extended depending on a variety of conditions, with this move allowing him to link-up with fellow tenured vet Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Mandzukic has an incredible amount of potential in terms of the style he plays and what he brings to any given European club, but with Milan looking set to make their most serious title pursuit in years, some are questioning whether he’s the man to take them to that next level.
